Rebar skeleton is all that remains of him when the concrete crumbles the whole damn world groans
Shattered glass and swivel chairs coffee mugs and keyboard hair when the concrete crumbles the whole damn thing shows
And as the thing fell in I didn’t blink the whole time I’ve never felt this compelled to watch it all again in rewind
Maybe we could push this shit in a cereal bowl on the box we could prescribe “if you survive you take home the gold”
Sift through rubble with salad tongs keep the whole thing dragging on when your soft palate starts to bleed you should’ve stuck with blue cheese
As it rakes across the tongue leaves the whole area feeling numb these concrete crumbles will take some getting used to
It’ll grind your troubles down into a fine powder we could sell by the pound
And if you finish a whole box then you’ll receive a voucher guaranteeing you more...
Concrete Crumbles part of a balanced breakfast one bowl isn’t enough

There's a lot of great tracks that I've definitely played over and over on YouTube here, and a lot I've yet to really sink my teeth into. I fully reserve the right to change my mind after listening to this one in full a few times, but for now, I know that Fire Fire's grim, fatalist tone/lyrics and haunting harmonies have long been a favourite of mine. nazmazh
